    Joining the Honor Society has been ideal for helping me develop leadership skills. It was probably one of the highlights of my high school career because I met so many new friends through it. As a homeschooler it can be tough at times to find other homeschoolers but Honor Society definitely provided me with a great deal of friendships. Some may tell you that it's not that great, but you truly get out whatever you put in. Having put in a Tuesday every month along with planning four parties in the year, I got a ton of fun out of it. Through monthly meetings, service projects and the parties you have plenty of opportunities to meet new students, and develop your leadership skills.
