Welcome to the ETA chapter of Eta Sigma Alpha National Homeschool Honor Society. Founded in 2001, we are beginning our eighth year of service to the Memphis-area Home Education Association community.
Mrs. Sharron Baker (Tim Baker) and Mrs. Lena Clay (Barry Clay) are our Eta Chapter Advisors. Both Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Clay are home education parent/teachers who have successfully homeschooled through high school and assisted their students in obtaining college entrance and scholarships. Jordan Baker is entering his junior year at Union University and Ryan Clay is entering his sophomore year at Tennessee Tech University. Ethan Baker (10th grade) and Kristyn Clay (11th grade) are honor society members and serve as officers of Eta Chapter.
We meet in the Parlor at Germantown Baptist Church, 9450 Poplar Avenue. This location is easily accessible from Poplar and from the Nonconnah. The Parlor is located downstairs and to the left as you enter the front lobby. With community service events, social opportunities, established contacts, and guest speakers, Eta Chapter of Eta Sigma Alpha National Homeschool Honor Society is the place to be!
Our 2008-2009 service projects will be fund-raising events for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Our first meeting of the 2008-2009 school year will be held on August 19, 2008. For a complete list of officers and schedule for the upcoming year, follow the links below:
